Ah, I have been there a million times. You know what has worked for me? Instead of saying to myself, "I'm not going to eat sugar", I say to myself, "I am going to eat tons of fruits and vegetables and exercise like crazy." It helps to focus on doing something rather than NOT doing something else. You know, it's true that what you focus on expands. (So focusing on NOT doing something, you're actually focusing on it and doomed to do whatever it is you're trying not to do.)

Hope I wasn't too verbose. Love your blog. Have a great day!

Amen to that! It works! I'm currently taking on a detox program too--only worse! NO sugar, caffeine, starch, alcohol!! It's like someone took all my toys away... did I mention no chocolate, either?? But alas, I feel amazing!!! Everytime I think I'm gonna break down, I try breathing, go for a bike ride or walk... and then I realize how good this ground really feels. You can do it!! Happy Near Year! (nice mistake, huh?)

Wow life can be so amazing when we're not locked into a cycle of addiction! Too bad we originate from a culture that breeds it ;) Quitting sugar was THE most difficult thing ever, but it paid off, I lost 30 lbs. I can do no sugar as long as I can smoke and drink. Cheers to breaking free of these chains! Dope blog, thanks
